Zachary Dove

Zachary Dove is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the UCSC Center for Reimagining Leadership and a Fellow at the Center for Coastal Climate Resilience. He received his PhD in Politics at UCSC in 2025. His research focuses on the politics of public engagement in the governance of emerging climate intervention technologies, including solar geoengineering, carbon dioxide removal, and atmospheric methane removal. Zach’s work aims to support inclusive and robust discussion and assessment of the risks and potential benefits of options for climate intervention.
